AI and You

In this edition:
No more legal questions!
Won’t that phone stop ringing?
What’s for dinner?
Onward upward!
1. Get Answers to Legal Questions (and Free stuff).

The website lists 153 items that it can help with. Some are hardcore legal (e.g., Trademark Registration), and others are just ….. well, life issues (Online fax, rental car upgrades) and don’t really seem to be legal related. It's a smorgasbord of assistance, where legality and everyday matters collide.
So here’s a very abbreviated list of legal things it can help with:
Canceling any Service or Subscription
Warranty Claims
Traffic Tickets
Identity Theft
Price Match
Getting Medical Records
Rebates
But hold your horses, you still have to do the work (e.g., fill out the forms, etc.), the service just provides you with information to do it correctly. This is the most popular such service at this writing, but others will undoubtedly be popping up that I suspect will be more focused and automated. This particular service does offer a Free Trial, so have at it. DoNotPay If you try it, let me know your thoughts.
2. Get Those Calls Answered
Ah, the eternal struggle of small businesses: the elusive phone answerer. Seems trivial, but for service businesses (e.g., plumbers) it’s business life or death as most customers will simply call the next service provider if no one answers. So missed calls equal lost business.
The business owner can hire someone full-time (Ka-ching!) or hire an answering service (their quality tends to be on par with a soggy sandwich at a gas station deli). And just when you think you've finally trained your new employee to navigate the phone lines with finesse, they vanish into thin air. Dang it! So now AI companies are popping up to answer calls.
The benefits are that it will be cheaper than a full-time person. Once trained, it will be consistent, pleasant, and reliable - unlike angry Brenda from accounting on a Monday morning. (And no sick days.) It will also free up employees to do more meaningful work.
One such service is Zen Call, which does more than just take a message …..
Whether a caller is interested in placing an order, making a reservation, or scheduling a meeting, your zencall secretary can quickly send a URL link to your online shop, menu, or calendar, allowing them to conveniently complete their transaction or booking online.
3. What’s for Dinner?
My family (me, wife and my 3 adolescent offspring) enters into a daily debate around 4PM - what’s for dinner? It’s really a complex (often adversarial) negotiation that regularly involves backstabbing, underhandedness, and swindling. (I’ll vote for meatloaf today if you vote for burgers tomorrow, which is forgotten tomorrow).
There is now AI popping up to solve this and similar problems.

This particular service (Chefgpt) allows you to input the ingredients you have and it will output a list of recipes you could cook. Say goodbye to wasted food and money!
Menu Bot is a similar service that helps you explore new recipes, create grocery lists and plan your meals.
Finally, prospre creates a meal plan to help you meet your target macros (protein, carbs, and fat) to help you lose fat or gain muscle. There will be lots more of these soon. I may give this one a try to lose my spare tire (tired of my friends calling me “Big boy”).
4. Onward and Upward
Whether you want to lose weight, get fit, start a business, or make more money - there’s someone offering online coaching to help. In short, online coaching is the “duct tape” of the internet. And who couldn’t use more duct tape?

Online coaching often comes with a hefty price tag and scheduling sessions can be a hassle. So say hello to your virtual AI coach, available to help you 24/7 and almost always at a more affordable price than a live expert. It's like having your very own coach who never sleeps and won't break the bank. How awesome is that?! Here’s one to try. Insightful
The potential of AI in coaching is truly remarkable. With specialized training in various fields, AI models are becoming masters of knowledge, ready to share their expertise with you. It's an exciting new world where technology meets ambition, helping us unlock our true potential.
