1. Auto-write Your Emails

Emails. Can’t live with them. Can’t live without them. They flood your inbox and the task of writing and replying to emails can be overwhelming.

Trimbox.io to the rescue. Type a few words and it will write the full email for you. It will also allow you to delete all emails from a sender with one click, and unsubscribe from any list with one click. Gmail only.

Cool idea. There are a few of these types of services available. This one works only with Gmail. I think using a chrome extension would allow it to work with other web-based platforms (e.g., Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.). I don’t see a big business opportunity here yet, unless you are grabbing data in the emails and selling info about the user (UGH!). Or maybe an upsell with more features?

With that said, not surprisingly Google is now introducing a “Help me Write” AI feature in Gmail.

2. Your AI Business Strategist

If you run a business or are thinking about starting a business, it’s nice to be able to brainstorm ideas to identify the best price structures, business models, etc. But, unless you have a mentor in place, it’s hard to find people to do that with.

There’s now a ChatGPT designed especially for that - the Entrepreneur Strategist. I think this is definitely worth a look given it’s free to chatGPT users.

I did give this a try and the results were ok. They were better than what I would get by asking ChatGPT. However, just like ChatGPT many of the ideas are just very generic. For example, one of the suggestions was to use a CRM. No kidding! It would be great if ChatGPT and GPTs like this one could me more specific about all the tasks that needed to be done with the CRM and provide recommendations for a specific product with explanations/reasons. They could then earn affiliate money on the recommendations.

So a general idea would be to build a web platform to make recommendations of products or services for people. The platform would then serve up affiliate links for each recommended product as a means to generate revenue and provide the service free to consumers.

3. Your AI Home Assistant

Here’s a service I could get behind. It can add events to your calendar, coordinate rides and other tasks with family and friends, set reminders and MAKE CALLS. That’s right it can make calls to doctors for checkups, for haircut appointments, reservations, order stuff, etc.

ohai.ai is worth a look. I will definitely be experimenting with this when I get time. If you have used it, please reply to this email and let me know what you think!

If functional and easy to use, I think a lot of people would pay for this. The long-term problem is that I suspect Google and Apple will be releasing their version of this built into the phone.
