I want to thank you for subscribing, and now reading, my newsletter! I would be grateful if you would click on a link (any link will do). This tells Gmail and other programs that my emails are not spam. FYI - none of my links are affiliate links.
If you use any new AI tool and have an opinion about it (good or bad), please let me know by replying to this email.
I’m moving this Friday and I will not be publishing the newsletter next week. I’ll miss you too!
1. Your Automated Outbound Sales Rep
Outbound marketing is a complex process. There is prospecting, outbound outreach, handling replies, calendar bookings, etc.
Now there is an AI that handles most of that. Ava is the AI sales rep offered by Artisan.co that will warm up emails, prospect leads from a database of 265 million contacts. She (it?) will then ghostwrite and send your email sequences, respond to questions, and book meetings on Calendly. All at scale.

She communicates with other employees via Slack, learns how the company works, and improves over time. If this interests you also consider, outboundly.ai and instantly.ai - which both specialize in cold email campaigns.
If this works well, it’s a game changer. These are tasks that many small businesses don’t know how to do (or do well), and don’t enjoy doing. There is a wait list so I have not been able to test drive this. No info on the price yet either. I am considering building a sales rep in a specific niche - currently speaking to a friend in the industry about it - and will keep you posted.
This company also has other digital workers “coming soon” such as The Marketer, the CS Rep, and others. Wow!
2. Gaze Fixer
We’ve all been there. You’re on a Zoom call or meeting and the person talking is 100% focused on their notes or a computer screen - never looking into their camera. I tend to keep moving my chair over toward their line of sight, but sadly that doesn’t work.
Or maybe that person is you. Sometimes, especially in sales, you don’t want to look at the camera because you need to look at your monitor to gauge the other person’s reaction to what you are saying. Now there’s an easy fix. Casablanca.ai will fix that eye contact so you can connect with your listeners. This also would be helpful in technical meetings where you must look at your notes regularly - especially with large audiences.

As you can see, it keeps your facial expressions but changes the eyes and head orientation. It also reportedly does it naturally to avoid the notion that you are staring.
3. Automated Video to Blog
So you create a video and you need to convert it to a blog. What a pain! Or maybe you really like what someone else has put in their video, and you want to blog about it.
VideotoBlog.ai will automate that for you. You can select what time range in the video to include in the blog, the language and tone, and whether to generate an image, metadata and/or social media posts. What’s not to like!

This creates an interesting legal question. It is perfectly legal for you to watch a video and then blog about it and include in the blog content that you learned from the video. You can publish it word for word. And it would not be ok for you to publish portions of the video transcript (ie., a copy) because that would be copyright infringement. So one would think that using this AI would not be a copyright infringement either. But if the AI is making a copy of the video to create the blog, the video owner could argue it is copyright infringement. Someone will eventually sue for copyright infringement over this type of AI so we’ll see how it plays out.
4. Your AI Stock Assessor
Now that we’re making all this money, we’ll undoubtedly want to invest a big chunk of it in the stock market. How do we make sure that our selected stock has strong fundamentals (cash flow, price-to-earnings ration (PE), debt-to-equity ratio, etc.)
You can use Cotter.ai. It provides a 0-10 rating for each stock as determined by the company’s fundamentals. Worth a look.

I think this is a good idea even if it isn’t earth-shattering (and has been done without AI). There are lots of different fundamentals one can consider and different investors use different fundamentals so perhaps AI can help determine which fundamentals are more important.
I think this niche will continue to evolve with the AI determining what stock to buy, when to buy it, at what price to buy it, and what stop loss to use (and will eventually just make the buy).
In the News…
Google’s demo of it’s AI Gemini was faked. Hard to believe such a sophisticated company can make such a huge blunder.
This past week X released Grok - its AI and competitor to ChatGPT - to Premium subscribers. I’ll review it soon.

AI Meme of the week…
