2. Step-by-step Tutorial from any Video

Not all the videos I watch are people tripping down the steps. Occasionally I’ll watch a video to learn something. It might be about stock trading, or changing a setting on my computer. Most recently, I watched a video about how to program the garage door opener on my car (about 8 minutes long). The problem is that after I watched it I couldn’t remember the exact steps.

My solution: watch the video again and pause it as I complete each step. Not a terrible solution, but there is a better one. I could have used Stepify which will make a step-by-step tutorial based on any YouTube video.

As an example, below is a portion of the steps it created from a YouTube video. Pretty cool!

This is a great idea. I think monetization could come from providing ads that offer products related to the video that is processed (right below or beside the tutorial). Win-win!

4. One of the Biggest AI Opportunities Available to Everyone

Synthesia allows you to create an AI person (a virtual person) that will read your script and star in your videos. Initially, these types of videos were very cool because we just hadn’t seen anything like them before, but the virtual person still looked artificial. Each person had perfect skin, looked young, showed almost no emotion and just seemed…. well… artificial.

So check out this video on X. This virtual guy shows emotion and looks like a normal person - a real human. Notice the slightly receding hairline, the 5 o’clock shadow, graying hair, etc. As in most technologies, AI is getting better and better at rendering virtual humans. Can’t wait to see one of these virtual people star in an action movie.

I think this is a huge opportunity. I mean HUGE. We all know that being a content creator can equate to huge dollars. The problem is that many of us don’t have the financial resources or time to produce 3-10 pieces of content per day.

Also, I have a face for radio so I don’t have the inclination to do it. Nor do I want to give up my privacy. Further, human content creators cannot sell their channel(s). Because their face and personality are used to create the content, a new owner would likely lose most of the followers by replacing the influencer with a new person.

However, imagine creating 3-10 virtual people and giving them each a few social media accounts. And then building their followers. Unlike a normal account associated with a real human, you’ll be able to sell these accounts because the new owner can simply take over the revenue and the video creation with its associated virtual person. So just like websites are sold today, content channels (with a virtual person) will soon be available for sale.

I think most of this could be farmed out to a virtual assistant as well, which makes it both more profitable and more sellable.
