I want to thank you for subscribing, and now reading, my newsletter! It would help me out if you would click on a link (any link will do). This tells Gmail and other programs that we are not spam. FYI - none of my links are affiliate links.

1. Perfect Your Dating Profile

Back in the day, I had a dating profile on Match. I tried to be humorous. And witty. Apparently, it was second-grade funny and only funny to laugh at - not with. And not witty at all. Now you can avoid my mistakes and use AI to enhance your dating profile. If you’re on the market, Flurry is probably worth a look.

2. Your AI Wingman

So after you use AI to perfect your profile, you’ll be communicating with tons of potential dates. And that can get tedious, right?!

With Rizpadd your AI wingman will generate high-quality replies and icebreakers to make those communications a snap. So if you want to be almost completely fake, give it a try. If only it would go on dates for you!

One could certainly envision people’s AIs talking to each other without input from either human. Perhaps it’s not a bad thing if the AI can legitimately represent the person and their interests.

3. Your AI Patent Attorney

At one time or another, we’ve all thought about a cool idea and thought, “I bet this would make millions if I had a patent!” The problem is that patenting anything is expensive and time-consuming (even if you hire an attorney).

Now there’s an AI for that. Edge is an AI custom-built to write patent applications. It generates draft claim sets, and embodiments, helps with drawings, and reduces errors. It’s for both patent attorneys and inventors.

I believe this type of tool will proliferate. Patent attorneys are very expensive. And they often charge by the hour. Consequently, there is a lot of incentive to make an AI that will be cheaper than using patent attorneys. After all, corporations are always trying to cut costs. For quite a while, the patent documents will have to be closely reviewed by a patent attorney. But reviewing a document is still a lot cheaper than drafting it from scratch. Hourly law firms will probably be the last ones to one adopt this, but corporations will jump on it.

4. Smart Glasses

These smart glasses connect to your phone via Bluetooth and allow you to speak directly to ChatGPT. You hear the response through the glasses. It will play music, take calls, and perform other tasks based on your commands. 12 hour battery life. Available at Lucyd.co.

At first, I was afraid to look at the price. But after mustering some courage it turns out they aren’t that much more expensive than regular glasses (if at all). The one I looked at was $140.

While this is still a burgeoning space, wearables will eventually be a really big thing. They have been around for a while and now will be even more desirable when integrated with AI. Think about what AI could do with your biometrics. “Hey, you’re having a heart attack - seek medical attention. The closest hospital is…”

While we are accustomed to accessing the internet via interfacing with our phone or computer, eventually a more seamless connection initiated with voice commands or other minimal efforts will be the norm.
