I want to thank you for subscribing, and now reading, my newsletter! It would help me out if you would click on a link (any link will do). This tells Gmail and other programs that we are not spam. FYI - none of my links are affiliate links.

1. AI Realtor Assistant

Chatrealtor.ai is a chatbot that connects to a realtor’s Zillow account and uses the data associated with that account to answer questions. It’s accessible on the Realtor’s website and can be deployed via text SMS in 10 minutes. Intended to schedule appointments and help close leads

We gave it a whirl. Basic questions were answered great. Sometimes, however, the responses were inconsistent. At other times, the responses were missing data. Of course, you need a ton of traffic to your site to make a chatbot worthwhile and most realtors don’t (because users just visit Zillow). With that said, this could certainly be useful for AirBnB hosts and other similar use cases.

2. Record Your Life

Rewind.ai is a platform that records EVERYTHING you do on your computer and makes it searchable. That includes everything you’ve seen, heard through your speakers and input to your computer (MAC only). The AI software that you install compresses, transcribes, encrypts, and stores the data locally so only you have access. You can then ask it anything about your stored data like asking it to summarize a meeting, find draft emails, etc.

Now they’re coming out with the Rewind Pendant that records everything you say and hear - even when you’re away from your computer. In short, you can record your life. Gotta think video recording is coming soon.

Nox is a similar device coming soon (hopefully). Demo here.

3. Your New Ray Bans

Companies are looking for anything they can integrate AI with to offer an improved product. The Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses fit the bill as next-gen smart glasses with a lot of cool features.

The glasses have the Meta AI built-in, which allows users to ask the AI questions and get info on the go. No need to pull out your phone, just ask!

Additionally, the glasses include a 12MP ultra-wide camera for video quality of 1080p up to 60 seconds along with audio and microphone. The glasses offer live streaming to Instagram. Come in over 150 different frame/lens combinations. Preorder here.

This is just the tip of the iceberg that is on the way as wearables will have a real impact in consumers’ daily lives.

4. ChatGPT Use Cases - Now You Can Fix Anything.

Last week, I wrote a segment about how ChatGPT can now receive and process images. Based on the photos it gave instructions on how to lower the bike seat including what wrench to use.

One obvious use case is repairing something (anything?). For example, let’s say you need to change a tire but haven’t done it. ChatGPT to the rescue. While the consumer will now have access to expert advice in fixing appliances, computers, and household items, it’s likely to be helpful to businesses as well.

One problem is hiring experienced technicians in the service industry. As a crutch, these service companies can use chatGPT to help technicians when they get stumped or are just unsure of how to proceed. Think HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair, etc. And/or chatGPT could be used to ensure the work is done correctly. A lot of opportunity here.

Other use cases for businesses include identifying manufacturing defects, assessing vehicle damage, analyzing x-rays, etc. Tons of opportunities!
