Prompt of the Day - Who do you most resemble?
I want to thank you for subscribing, and now reading, my newsletter! I would be grateful if you would click on a link (any link will do). This tells Gmail and other programs that my emails are not spam. FYI - none of my links are affiliate links.
If you use any new AI tool and have an opinion about it (good or bad), please let me know by replying to this email.
1. Fast and Easy AI-Generated Video for Your Biz
Ever wish there was a service where you could just supply a link to your product and it would generate a video? Now there is! With Jogg, you just enter the URL of your product and it will generate a few scripts for you to choose from and edit. After the script is set, it will generate a video customized to the platform of your choosing.

This is a great idea. I think this is especially great for physical products. I tried to use it for a Chat SaaS I’m developing and the scripts it generated suggested it thought I was selling shirts. So they have some work to do to get this right.
2. AI Agents for Marketing, Sales, and Software Development
CheatLayer offers prebuilt AI agents that you can easily customize to do sales, marketing, or build software products. The sales agents can generate and qualify leads through email and SMS. The marketing agents will automate generating, posting, and a/b testing content. They offer a 30 day trial for $1.

This is a really great idea if implemented well. These are tasks that many business owners simply don’t want to do. The service would also be very useful to agencies.
However, if you want to see what NOT do in a sales/intro video go check out theirs. I’ve looked at over a thousand such videos over the last year and sadly this one is not good (ok, it’s bad). I only got through about 30 seconds of it before bailing.
The speaker (obviously a very proud engineer) begins talking about the problem and the engineering fix. He should instead be talking about how the viewer will benefit from their service (or mention some hooks/questions to get the viewer intrigued enough to continue watching). This is surprising given the huge amount of resources they’ve obviously spent developing this platform.
3. AI Voice Clone
Eleven Labs had kinda cornered the market on voice clones, but now there is an open-source voice clone. It can imitate anyone’s voice if you provide it a 10 second clip. Here’s a live demo of it (about 15 seconds long).
You really, really should not trust audio clips anymore
Even a couple months ago, it used to take a commercial service to clone a voice. No more. Here is me creating a voice clone of myself using just a 10 second reference clip on my home computer
This is all real time, no cuts

This won’t put Eleven Labs out of business (at least for a while) but they will have to make their platform really great and easy to use or risk losing customers to this open-source version.
Eleven Labs is strict about not letting their customers clone celebrity voices because it’s illegal without their permission. Now it’ll be like the wild wild west with this open-source version.
4. Today’s Prompt
Based on all our conversations, what famous person or fictional character do I resemble the most?

Better than Hannibal Lecter I guess.
In the News…
Apple study reveals AIs have minimal reasoning capabilities. They are really just using pattern recognition. Changing the name or number in reasoning problems reduced the models’ performance.
